We recommend dental hygiene for all patients regardless of the health of their teeth. As a rule, 1 - 2 appointments per year are sufficient. In the case of certain diseases, it may be advisable to have your teeth cleaned more frequently. This applies in particular to patients with an increased risk of periodontal disease, as dental cleaning also removes plaque in areas that are difficult to access with a toothbrush.

Dental cleaning is not associated with pain for you. We take an extremely gentle approach to dental cleaning in Zurich and work with gentle instruments. For patients with dental anxiety, we also offer professional teeth cleaning under anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation or general anesthesia.
